The FBT-IMU-TAC(F) is the most rugged offering under FlameVector, Flameback's flagship series of Tactical IMUs.
The TAC(F) is a fortified MEMS inertial measurement unit: designed, engineered and manufactured in India for vibration profiles, mounting constraints, and integration needs of modern platforms.
It is has been built and tested to work flawlessly in GNSS-degraded / denied environments, and delivers trusted inertial sensing for defence platforms where navigation performance directly impacts mission success.
Developed around a tactical-grade MEMS inertial architecture, it provides high-fidelity angular rate and linear acceleration measurements required for precision control, navigation and stabilisation.
Its precision-machined aluminium enclosure, optimised mechanical architecture and seamless compatibility enable rapid deployment across a broad range of defence systems.
And here's the fun part: The TAC(F) delivers high-fidelity six-degree-of-freedom inertial measurements through precision triaxial gyroscopes and accelerometers, fully factory calibrated for bias, sensitivity, axis alignment, g-sensitivity and point-of-percussion effects to maximise measurement accuracy and long-term stability.
